1. Online applications are invited from eligible male and female Indian citizens for
filling up 116 vacancies allotted in following sports disciplines for the post of
Rifleman/Riflewoman (General Duty) under Sports Quota recruitment in Assam
Rifles for the year 2019, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India

How to Apply.
To apply, fill up the online application by clicking on "ONLINE
APPLICATION" option on the web page. The candidates will fill the requisite
details as prescribed in the application form. After filling up the application, the
candidates has the option to make online payment via link given for online
payment or alternatively the payment can be made at any SBI counters as
well. In both the options the candidate will have to upload copy of the challan
or receipt online. Candidates while reporting for PST, Field Trial and Detailed
Medical Examination will produce original copy of payment receipt I challan for
official records. In case of non submission of receipt I challan the candidature of
such applicants may be rejected. The candidates will also produce the printed
copy of online Application Form duly completed and a copy of Calling Letter
downloaded from the website, failing which the candidature of the applicants
may be rejected . The online applications portal will be functioning from the day
of publication of the advertisement to the last date of receipt of the applications
as prescribed in the advertisement.

Application Fee.
 Fee structure and other details are as follows: -
(a) Fee Structure. The General and OBC category candidates will pay a non-
refundable fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) only.
(b) The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into SBI Current Account
No. 37088046712 in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong - 793010 payable at SBI HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code - SBIN0013883.
( c) No Fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Scheduled
Tribes and Female candidates.

Starting date -
The online application SERVER will start
functioning from 16 Feb 2019.

LAST DATE -
Last date of receipt of applications from eligible candidates for Assam Rifles
Meritorious Sportspersons Quota Recruitment Rally 2019 is 17 Mar 2019
Applications received thereafter will not be entertained. Applications will be
accepted through online mode only.
