Project Name:
Knowledge and Economic Empowerment of women, tribal and their
families in coastal villages of Tamil Nadu through adoption of
brackishwater aquaculture and allied technologies integrated with societal development programmes
Duration:
1 year 6 months.
Essential qualification:
Manpower
A. Young Professional - II ( One Post )
Pay@ Rs.25,000 /- (Consolidated) per month M.Sc Social Sciences / Agriculture / Fisheries Extension/ Home Science / Home Science Extension/ Women Studies/ Life Sciences /Aquaculture Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field investigations and proficiency in computers and statistical analyses are desirable
B. Contractual Technical Assistant
Pay@ Rs.15,000 /- (Consolidated) per month
Graduate in Science or Social studies or / Agriculture / Fisheries
Extension/ Home Science / Home –Extension/ Life Sciences/ Aquaculture
OR 10 + 2 equivalent)
Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field
investigations and proficiency in computers and statistical analyses are desirable
Desirable :
Knowledge in fish farming / aquaculture and field work
Nature of work:
Field work at coastal and tribal villages (in Tiruvalur and Kancheepuram dt. Tamilnadu) and office work at CIBA, Chennai.
Age Limit :
Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview. Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may send their application in the prescribed proforma
only along with biodata through e-mail to drshanthi@ciba.res.in positively on or before 10th May 2019.
Applications received after the above said prescribed last date will not be entertained under any circumstances. Communication will be sent to the short-listed
candidates only by email to attend the interview at CIBA, Chennai.
The candidates who have received mail should appear for the interview with the filled-in application, original and photocopies of certificates along with passport size photograph.
Director, CIBA reserves right to accept or reject any applications. CIBA does not enter into correspondence with the applicants for not calling them for interview. TA / DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
