INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT 2019

Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone,
Chennai will be conducted by Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai from 07 Jun 2019 to 17 Jun 2019 at BHARATHI STADIUM, NEYVELI (TN) to enroll eligible
candidates into the Army from seven districts of Tamilnadu viz Cuddalore, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Kancheepuram and Puducherry dist of Puducherry (UT) in Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner),Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman categories. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 09 Apr 2019 to 18 May 2019. Admit card will be issued online after 20 May 2019. Candidates are requested to bring their admit card, application and documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site. Date and time of reporting at rally site will be mentioned on admit card. Print out of admit card can be taken from 21 May 2019 from
www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and
documents in water proof transparent document sleeves / sheet protection to cater for guard against damage due to inclement weather.

Recruitment Programme:

Medical Exam of Candidates:
Primary medical examination will be carried out with effect from 08 Jun 2019 onward at Rally Site.

Educational Qualifications:
8th, 10th,12th  (Refer Official Notification for Detailed educational qualification according to particular post)

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

1.PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST

2.Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
As per eligibility requirement of
category given at Paragraph 4 (Eligibility Conditions).

3. Medical.
The Medical Examination will be carried out on dates given by
Medical Team at rally site. Candidates found medicaly UNFIT at rally site will
report to concerned medical specialist at designated hospital alongwith three (03)
latest passport size photograph. Candidate will ensure that review medical is carried out on the dates given to them. If 180 days or more lapse between
screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will be done again
and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.

4.  Common Entrance Examination.
All the candidates who have been
declared fit at rally site in the Medical Examination and those declared medical fitfrom Military Hospitals after review will undergo a Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by Recruitment Office (HQ), Chennai. The location and date of
Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be informed during the rally/intimated
later. Negative marking would be applicable in Common Entrance Examination (CEE). For Clerk category, the entire question paper (all 50 questions)
will be attempted on OMR Sheet and no separate subjective answer sheet
will be used for English section. Result of written examination will be declared
on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No Separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibility of candidate to check the result and report to Recruiting Office (Headquarters) for documentation.

Document Required: 
Candidates must bring the following documents in original on the day of rally as per programme. The documents should arranged properly in a sequence and contained in a file cover along with one set of Photostat copy of each duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his name and seal in English. Candidates are advised to check their certificate and Marks Sheet for mismatch of name, Date of Birth, Parents name, School and other particulars in various certificates. All documents/ rubber stamp/seals should be in ENGLISH. (For more refer Official Notification)
